Difference Between Compiler and Interpreter

Compiler

Compiler is a program or a software which converts High Level Language Program into Low Level Language Program which can easily be understood by computer. It converts the whole program into Low Level Language and then displayed an Error ( if any ), other wise it will run the program.

Interpreter

Interpreter is a program or a software which converts High Level Language Program into Low Level Language Program which can easily be understood by computer. But the difference between compiler and interpreter is that compiler converts the whole program while interpreter converts the first instruction of the program and then displayed an Error (if any), otherwise it will run the first instruction of the program. And then move towards the second instruction and so on.....
